Minimum Requirements:
Diploma in transport or degree.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in transport environment.
Ability to set/achieve set Company targets.
Good computer skills.
Self motivated, innovative and trustworthy.
No clock-watcher and dedicated to lead by example.
Code 10 drivers licence and can travel.
Technical experience.
Be prepared to undergo psychometric test.
The above qualifications will be an advantage.

Job Specification
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

The person appointed to the position will manage and oversee the following:
Motivating and developing staff to satisfy customer needs.
Planning and organising staff shifts rosters, which will include leave and peak season staff requirements.
Coach scheduling and service planning.
Attending to staff performance appraisals, incentives and disciplinaries.
Holding regular staff meetings.
Planning and organising of cash collection.
Implement effective systems and controls relating to revenue protection.
The security of the Depot, coaches and staff.
Maintain, implement, develop and monitor service levels to ensure that a Quality service is provided to customers.
Controlling of all depot expenditure.
Developing, review and updating of applicable operations manuals.
Liase with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Control of lost luggage, complaints and compliments according to set procedures.
Grow the business by looking for new business opportunities.
Monthly report on staff, service levels competitors and expenditure.
Investigating new routes and existing route for profitability.
Accidents and breakdowns investigations.
