Well established Flexible packaging company in Durban is looking for operator with Blown film experience.

Minimum Requirements

•Matric
•Technical Qualification
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Blown film process and setting.

Job Specification

•Will be responsible for installation and commissioning of the machines.
•Will be responsible to maintain all machine (fitting and electrical)
•Must be trade tested with at least 5 years experience in a Flexible plastic industry
•Must have experience working with the following machines
•Scae bagmaking machines
•Hemingstone bagmaking machines
•2 layer co - extruders
•6 colour Filipinni and Paganini stack press
•EBS ink jet printing machines
•Linx ink jet printing machines
•Linx/Vidoejet Thermal Transfer printing machines

•Maximize machine outputs by maintaining product cycles as per the required standards;
•Ensure products produced are of the required quality standards as set by Management;
•Ensure effective running of Blown film machines as per Production Plan;
•Effect product changeovers in accordance with the Production Plan
•Set Blown film machines so as to optimize product quality, machine availability and process performance;
•Conform to all machine safety and mould protection systems and procedures;
•Monitor the process parameters and product quality of all machines in operation on an on-going basis
