Position: Operator (IT Networks and systems)
Location: Midrand in Gauteng

Required qualification
Matric and IT diploma of qualification
Networking - CCNA level
Microsoft Windows server - MCP level
Basic knowledge of Linux systems
Advanced Excel and Word skills

Key Performance Areas:

Network & system monitoring systems support for clients
Act on alarms & messages on monitors
System admin tasks & maintain the database of monitored objects
Health checks & compilation of reports.
Develop an awareness of a wide spectrum of IT technologies.
Notify engineer/ supervisor about deviations & keep informed of progress
Continuously monitoring of client's infrastructure, according to SLA.
Timeously responding to exceptions according to SLA.
Admin maintained according to client SLA.
Update client & engineer of changes (email).
Daily/Weekly/Monthly QA reports completed.
Appropriately reacted to discrepancies found in QA report and engineer informed via email.
Standard report generated on request.
Stress and unit reports generated on a monthly basis.
New & current systems testing compared.
Monitoring center kept neat / RT system maintained
Patch and/or "hot fix" release testing completed.
Hardware kept in working condition & ensure high productivity
