OPERATOR LHD (6 MONTHS CONTRACT), MACHADODORP, RNEG

6 MONTH CONTRACT!!!!!GRADE 12 + LHD OPERATOR CERTIFICATE + 1 YEAR MINE EXP + CERTIFICATE OF FITNESS + VALIDE CODE 10 DRIVER’S LICENCE – MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY.

ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT WILL REPORT TO THE SUPERVISOR AND THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL
INCLUDE:
? Clean faces
? Load material from designated site and dumped at designated area/ dump truck
? Monitor that the ore is not overloaded on the Dump Truck.
? Conduct hauling activities according to the required standard
? Ensure that roadways are clear and remove any spillages as and when required
? Pre start inspection
? Report defects to Supervisor/ Controller
? Continuously observe/ monitor component performance against standards to identify any sub performance and
immediately stop operation and report to Supervisor/ Controller
? Assist with and monitor preventative and breakdown maintenance during shift (fill up hammer oil, lubrication, etc).
? Ensure the dust suppression system is operational.
? Ensure working area and equipment is clean and safe at all times
? Ensure all redundant materials are reclaimed.
? Ensure roadways are leveled (cleaning excessive or before grader)
? Enhance safety awareness throughout working area
? Ensure working area and equipment is clean and safe at all times and in good working condition
? Ensure and comply with safety standards guidelines, policies and procedures
? PPE is worn during shift and safety rules and regulations adhered to
? Declaration of working place is safe.
? Oversee housekeeping principles are adhered to within the Section.
THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:
? Grade 12/Standard 10
? Competent A
? Computer Literacy
? Up to 1 year relevant experience
? LHD Operator Certificate
? Certificate of Fitness
? Valid driver's license Code 10

THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS OR OPTIONAL:
? National Certificate
