OPHTHALMIC SURGICAL EQUIPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Surgical Device Sales Representative to join a leading Ophthalmology company in KZN.

The Main responsibility for the sales and promotion of the Cataract Product portfolio.
Sales and market share responsibility across the Cataract Equipment portfolio.
Drive equipment penetration and upgrades in target customers.
Cross – functional support.
Consistently act in accordance with SOPs and medical device regulatory environment
QA/PV.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: BS/BA in Biomedical field or COT/COA preferred

Languages: English

Experience: Minimum three (3) years Sales Force experience in Medical Devices, preferably in Cataract surgery
Excellent knowledge of Ophthalmology.
Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques and trends
“Hunter” (customer lead and opportunity-seeking) mindset with ability to work in highly competitive environments, focusing on demos and conversion of competitive accounts
Strong business and selling acumen
Excellent communication skills, both technically and interpersonally
Strong problem solving skills
Demonstrated autonomy and ability to travel up to 90 % to customer sites in the assigned region;
Valid driver license and passport.
