Prestigious company based in Midrand is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for a 12 months contract. The resource should be exposed to and have the capability to perform Database Installation and upgradation of Oracle Server Software and related products, Database configuration including configuration of background processes and perform Database performance optimization & fine tuning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
3 Year National Diploma
5 years Oracle DBA experience
Good understanding of the ETL process

KEY DELIVERABLES:
Database Installation and upgradation of Oracle Server Software and related products.
Database configuration including configuration of background processes
Database performance optimization & fine tuning
Configuring the Database in Archive log mode
Configuring RMAN Backup
Configuring Hot Backup
Maintaining Database in archive log mode
Devising Database backup strategy
Monitoring & checking the Database backup & recovery process
Database troubleshooting
Database recovery in case of crash
Database if required
Database security
Enabling auditing features wherever required
Table space management
Database Analysis report
Configuring & usage of front end tool & connectivity to Oracle
Troubleshooting of front end tool if required
Database health monitoring
Log monitoring in scheduled manner
