Oracle Developer - Johannesburg
Oracle Developer with +5years Oracle PL/SQL experience required for a leading IT company to manage the database architecture in a complex model environment as well as create and develop reports using PL/SQL procedures and HTML.
 
Required Skills and Experience

• BSc Degree or equivalent IT qualification
• Formal Oracle Certification
• At least 5 years Oracle development experience
• PL/SQL
• Object Oriented and SOA development experience
• Linux/Windows Server environment 
• SDLC knowledge in a Java and web environment

 
Responsibilities include

• Create and maintain batch loading and processing procedures using SQL loader and PL/SQL procedures
• Maintain existing systems and applications
• Design and develop solutions for interfacing with external systems
• Develop new systems
• Participate in design and architecture of new systems
• Unit testing own code
• Mentor and coordinate code modules to various developers

 
Competencies

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure

 
Salary offering R480k per annum negotiable on experience.
