Outbound Sales Agents

Job Description:
• Outgoing call centre agents (sales) that have the key responsibility of generating business. They need to proactively follow up on leads generated to achieve sales objectives.
• Teamwork is required to ensure queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner and to maximize the agreed set targets and profitability goals.
• You are expected to deliver prepared sales scripts to persuade potential customers to buy the product/policy.
• The sales agent must describe the product to the customer, respond to any questions the customer may have and obtain customer information.
• You must be target driven, be able to perform under pressure, meet targets and up-sell the product.
• Perform any duties delegated to you be Supervisor/ Manager.
• Contact potential customers by phone.
• Explain the product and respond to any questions.
• Take the customer through the sales process.
• Have efficient communication skills and persuasiveness.
• Negotiate terms within set guidelines.
• The ability to think on your feet.
• Complete records of telephonic interactions.
• Follow up on previous leads.
• Must be able to manage time and stress.
