Outbound Sales Consultant

Our client is a dynamic and fast growing provider of innovative insurance products for individuals and their families and their focus is on providing the best insurance solutions.

This position is ideal for a Sales person with excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills, the proven ability to sell (telephonically) and who is looking to further their career in the insurance industry. Sufficient on-the-job training and support will be provided and the opportunities for a hard working candidate that likes new challenges are unlimited.

The following are requirements

• Matric Certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in outbound telephonic experience
• Clear criminal record
• Contactable references
• Proven ability to make sales and earn commission (salary slip)

If you come from a financial services background please state on your CV if you are appointed/listed with the FSB (Financial Services Board) already.

The incumbent will amongst other be responsible for the following

• To call all Leads (provided by the Employer) for the purpose of selling insurance products
• To register all outcomes
• To check that all your outcomes are correct
• To meet the agreed targets communicated by management
• To comply with the necessary regulations by adhering to the compliance prompts as determined within the Telemarketing Script
• To maintain a clean and professional work environment
• To perform ad-hoc calls for the maintenance and updating of records
