Our client based in Midrand is looking for a Personal Assistant/Project Administrator with project related administrative support services across all project portfolios within the project management teams.

Qualifications and Experience required

• A completed Tertiary Qualification.
• Project Management certificate (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within Project Management
• Must be willing to travel as site visits are key to role

Responsibilities:

Project Administration
• Coordinating with team members frequently for updates regarding the work in progress
• Monitoring the progress of the project and acknowledging team suggestions
• Ensuring that guidelines are met
• Assisting Project Managers in the development and maintenance of both electronic and hard copy project files.
• Updating relevant documents and providing Document Management advice as and when required
• Supporting Project Managers in the preparation of project documentation, including Project Management Plans, Change requests and
Project Status Reports.
• Assisting in monitoring progress to ensure the delivery of work streams against plans, monitoring and challenging progress as appropriate.
Quality Management
• Assisting in the implementation of high standards in the company and projects
• Assisting in updating operational processes in the company
• Filing of documents and updating all files (soft and hard copy)

Technical skills

• Working knowledge of all MS Office Applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
• Report writing skills
