Job Description:
Packing Group Leader

Our client is seeking to employ a dynamic Packing Group Leader at their distribution facility. The incumbent will primarily be responsible to coordinate the warehouse packing and distribution teams.
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Ensure all products are packed in the designated area by staff.
Ensure all parcels are properly identified and labelled.
Coordinate equipment needs to ensure availability for operational activities.
Establish a safe work environment in accordance with industry and OHS regulation.
Supervise and direct the activities of all department employees.
Train and develop employees on required tasks.
Perform other tasks necessary to facilitate safe and smooth department operations.
Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Diploma in warehousing or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse packing and distribution.
Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Advanced Excel computer skills will be advantageous
Multilingual (English and Afrikaans) with the ability to communicate at all levels (speak, read and write)
Proven interpersonal skills
Driver’s license Code 8
