Requirements:
- Grade 12
- NQF Level 4 qualification
- Minimum 2 years' relevant lab experience
- Knowledge of quality systems
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
- Test lab experience will be an advantage
- Ability to understand test specifications
- Candidate must reside in East London

Responsibilities:
- Ensure availability of chemicals
- Start up and shutdown of pre-treatment and e-coat plant as per procedures
- Make alterations to solutions pending test results
- Measure paint thickness on various components
- Report leaking pumps and tanks to maintenance
- Ensure that all the chemical and physical parameters of the pre-treatment and e-coat plant is met at all times
- Clean and unblock spray nozzles
- Flushing of UF Modules
- Cleaning the sludge press
- Ensure quality control including optimal paint thickness, first off / last off procedures, solid analysis test, calibration of testing equipment
and adherence to quality work instructions and documents
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety & housekeeping standards
