Our automotive dealer client currently holds a vacancy for an experienced Panel Sales and Operations Manager based in Johannesburg.

To formulate and position the Brand Approved Repairer Programme resources and functions
in order to ensure alignment, implementation, profitability and long-term business growth.
The role will focus on growing the Panel Parts business and optimising processes across the Brand value chain.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Postgraduate Commerce qualification - Professional Qualification i.e CIMA will be an added advantage
- Min 7 years working experience - 3 years in an operational role
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to mine and evaluate data to identify problems and root causes.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to understand complex technical issues and communicate them in a
manner easily understandable by others.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem solving skills.
- Project management from identifying gaps in the current state to implementing solutions that result in the desired state
- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
- Highly effective team leadership. Is resilient, optimistic and open to change.
- Strategic Orientation. Self motivated and able to work well under pressure.
- Above average PC skills with demonstrated ability to use Microsoft products (word,excel,powerpoint,outlook,etc)
- Systems experience: Automate, SAP and Autoline - added advantage
- Must hold a valid driver license
- Travelling required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Grow panel sales -organic growth strategy formulation and execution
- Establish, enhance and optimize qualitative processes and work-flow in all aspects of Panel value chain
- Establish KPI’s and the required reports to assess PANEL management performance - to be reported Weekly
- Control Environment improvement - monthly assessment and review
- Implement productivity and quality standards.
- Meets Panel financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget
- Scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Relationship building and alignment with Insurance companies.
- Monthly meetings to be arranged
- Relationship building and alignment with Motor Body Repairers.
- Fleet Vendors Analytics - ensure supply rate objectives met.
- Attend Quarterly meetings
- Panel Staff Management - recruitment, selection, orientation and developing employees.
- Maintain and sign off on all MBR approvals, cancellations and WIP
- Plan and execute periodic campaigns and forums
- Ad hoc project management and execution
- Back up and support to GM
- Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
