Our client requires the service of a Partner Business Developer who will be responsible for assisting the client in developing and managing these partners through early sales to growing annuity revenue streams.

Key performance areas:

? Building a distribution and contact list within the clients target market, working closely with the Leader
? Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
? Qualification of potential resellers and customers before further business development investment
? Drive regular webinars to spread awareness of the company’s offerings within the target market
? Regular (at least quarterly) trips to the USA and Canada to build face-to-face relationships with qualified Partners, doing marketing seminars, etc.
? Signing up and negotiating with Partners and providing sustained Sales Enablement training
? Identification of Partner requirements, bottlenecks and removing barriers in the sales process
? Planning and preparing sales material and associated documents/presentations/literature.
? Developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with partners and customers
? Providing a feedback loop from the market to ensure that client removes all possible sales and usability issues
? Using the clients CRM and keeping sales progress current
? Building, growing and converting a Sales Pipeline
? Achieving sales quotas

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification and reasonable proficiency with using software
? 2 Years Business development and commercial experience i.e. being used to commercial processes, building and managing a Sales Pipeline, using a CRM, achieving sales targets, etc.
? Experience with Medical device/technology sales & channel
? Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport
? Excellent English communication and negotiation skills
? Strong time management and organizational abilities
? Proven ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines and targets
? Critical thinker with sound problem solving abilities
? Ability to travel regularly from South Africa to North America
? Flexibility for the time zone difference between South Africa and North America, e.g. to engage with Partners in the evening, within reasonable limits.
