Passenger Vehicle Service Manager – Gaborone Botswana
Location: Gaborone Botswana
Offer: Expatriate package + all benefits

Must have experience with Mercedes-Benz Passenger Vehicles .
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a service manager .
Must have managed a service department with a minimum intake of 30 vehicles per day .

Develop Strategic work plans
Responsible for defining target market for the Workshop within the framework of performance targets defined by MPC, together with company management.
Ensure optimal design of work spaces and processes
Develop concepts for increasing use for the customer, turnover and profitability in Services.
Provide input into service strategies for the future

Marketing and Research Activities
Responsible for pricing strategy reviews for the workshop to suit the market.
Responsible for the selection and control of cooperation partners for external services.
Plan, monitor and control customer loyalty activities, customer surveys and other measures for monitoring customer satisfaction.
Monitor the quality of advisory service provided.
Monitor regional market with respect to new competitors

Leadership
Develop and implement a staff resource plan in response to the needs of the workshop
Define targets and develop performance agreements with all employees.
Develop and manage appropriate succession plans with the department
Ensure that performance contracts are in place for all team members
Ensure that relevant skill mix ratios are maintained according to agreed standards

Financial Performance and Profits:
Monitor and control costs incurred within own department
Evaluate departmental results on a monthly basis and implement corrective measures when required.
Ensure that all relevant information is communicated to relevant financial staff members.

Management of service operations:
Ensure efficient use of all resources, processes and procedures with the workshop
Ensure job time planning and task allocation for workshop is carried out correctly
Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations
Ensure quality control of all completed tasks

Education & experience:
Minimum Grade 12 (Tertiary qualification in business management preferable)
Computer Literate (preferably Kerridge system experience)
Minimum of 5 years experience in management position in similar role.
