OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:Safari JOBS is now searching for a young, vibrant and creative Pastry/Sous Chef for a beautiful and outstanding boutique property in Johannesburg. PURPOSE:The role of the Pastry/Sous Chef is to manage the pastry department, liaising with the Executive and Head Chefs, providing the best culinary experience possible. Together, working with an assistant, to provide pastries for the lodge when occupied. Also, supporting the Executive and Head chefs in the hot kitchen, ensuring support whenever needed. This role needs to be flexible, and creative, introducing new ideas and have a passion for food and pastry.
