My client, a five star Hotel and Restaurant based in Franschhoek, is seeking to employ a Pastry Sous Chef.
Requirements:
- Worked in 5 star establishments
- Experience of pastry menu planning/design
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, storage, health standards
- Versatile in providing different styles of pastries
- Good understanding of nutrition, food allergies restrictions and choices
Responsibilities:
- Managing the pastry section to maintain an exemplary level of food standards reflecting the needs and requirements of our guests and team members
- Working closely with the kitchen team, and other departments to ensure a harmonious working atmosphere
- Maintaining the highest level of hygiene as per the standards
