National Debt Advisors, a leading debt management business based in Cape Town, is looking for Payments Administrators! The ideal candidate would have an understanding of a collections environment in the debt review industry, be well versed in PTP arrangements, and have the ability to empathize with clients when securing payments. Requirements:

• Matric (essential)
• Minimum 8 months collection experience (essential)
• Minimum 6 months debt review experience (essential)
• Must have experience in operating a dialler system in a call centre environment
• Experience in working on a ticketing system (advantageous)
• An understanding of payment distribution agents (PDA’s) (advantageous)
• Experience in operating the SAGE system (advantageous)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and intermediate Excel skills

Duties:

• Making outbound calls to customers to collect outstanding debt
• Providing correspondence management to customers within SLA’s
• Updating clients and credit provider database on the company’s CRM (Simplicity)
• Accurately capturing and saving debt balances of clients, while reconciling accounts
• Driving combinations of soft and hard collection actions to ensure customers pay their fees on time, and dealing with missed payments in line with the collections strategy
• Apply retention and prevention tactics to prevent cancellations
