REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
Tertiary Qualification – Financial Diploma essential.
Two years’ experience on VIP computerized payroll system.
Salary background within a large company (300+ staff) is highly recommendable.
Computer literate in all applications of MS Office.
Previous working experience within a private hospital setting will be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To co-ordinate and maintain an effective payroll administrative service within a financial framework.
Payroll updating: Be proactive in the preparation of the Hospital’s monthly payroll administration by daily recording employee payroll information e.g. overtime, leave balances, absenteeism, salary deductions, staff loans and bonuses, etc.
Ensure that all Garnishee matters i.e. Medical Aids, Provident Fund, Omni health as well as the Receiver of Revenue payments are timeously executed and monthly VIP reports are accordingly compiled.
Reconcile monthly salaries (Doctors & Employees) and provide the finance department with an analysis of all labour costs.
Kronos Time Management System: Maintain the Kronos system in terms of new staff appointments and resignations, thereby ensuring the system is at all times updated and functional.
Anticipate potential staff problems by regularly engaging in meaningful discussions with all hospital clients (staff) to determine the levels of customer satisfaction.
Actively participate in the compilation and implementation of personnel in-service training sessions.
Be actively involved in all office administrative duties related to the efficient record keeping and co-ordination of related documentation and information.

SKILLS:
Superior skills in diplomacy, decision-making, tactfulness and discretion with good interpersonal relationships.
Attention to detail.

WORKING HOURS:
Mondays to Fridays from 07H30 till 16H00 with 30-minute meal interval

REMUNERATION:
R20 000 – R25 000 (Negotiable and pending on qualifications and working experience within the field of service).

DATE OF EMPLOYMENT:

1 APRIL 2018 / 30 SEPTEMBER 2018. (6-MONTHS TEMP BASIS)
