PAYROLL OFFICER IN THE MINING INDUSTRY

Must have completed and have certification of all tertiary courses completed
Must reside in or near Burgersfort
Must provide us with 3 references with their email addresses

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PREREQUISITE:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience
Processed payroll in the mining industry
Experience in Sage VIP and Oracle finance systems
Reconcile and submit all tax systems – monthly, yearly
Mining payroll experience is essential – state number of years 0
Understanding and knowledge of shifts payment is essential and a pre-requisite
Understanding and knowledge of wages agreement interpretation is essential and is a pre-requisite
Understanding and knowledge of off cycle payment such as zama zama or scontiri is a prerequisite
Ensures accurate reconciliation of relevant accounts to the general ledger
Ensures effective administration of the payment of salaries and third party payments
Ensures timely generation of IRP 5 certificates and tax year end
Responsible for the accurate capture of information e.g. leave, bonuses and increases
Facilitation of accurate and timeous reporting and audit processes
Facilitate garnishee and third party payments
Capture and maintenance of employee data on HRIS
