An established and growing telecommunications company based in the CBD is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team. Someone who thrives on working in a fast paced and pressurised environment.

This role is ideal for someone looking for a friendly working environment with an open door policy and to gain great exposure in their line of work.

Duties:
• Processing of payroll (main and interim)
• Good knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act and relevance thereof pertaining to payroll
• Good knowledge of taxation applicable to individuals
• Electronic submission of UI19 forms
• Bi-annual submission of EMP501 returns
• Monthly submission of EMP201 returns
• Good understanding of ETI
• Reconciliation of 3rd party payables relevant to payroll
• Collecting, maintaining and filing of employee records
• Collating information for group scheme participation of employees and liaising with brokers in this regard

Requirements:
• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification: Diploma (or equivalent thereof) in Accountancy
• 5 years relevant payroll experience
• Payspace experience will be beneficial
