JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that Company Human Resources policies are adhered to. To ensure that the payroll is accurately and timeously processed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll Processing

Collate payroll changes from relevant managers timeously and ensure that payroll change documentation is completed and authorised.
Forward authorised payroll details to bureau for payment.
Ensuring that all deductions are in accordance with legislation or rules of the fund, medical aid, company policy.
Review and process staff incentives (Incentives for all employees will be provided to be processed).
Returns and Reporting

Ensure that all employee related statutory returns are submitted timeously and accurately, including – Employees tax, Employment Equity, Skills Development, BEE, Statistics SA.
Ensure that all employee training records are maintained and that management reports are produced accurately and timeously.
Liase with Listed company HR and Payroll for reports required.
3rd Party Management

Liase with Company retirement fund providers and communicate and action change requests from employees and the fund providers.
Liase with Company medical aid providers and communicate and action change requests from employees and the medical aid.
Compliance

Keep up to date with changes in relevant legislation.
Ensure that company procedures are in accordance with current legislation.
Maintain Company HR policies and procedures with input from relevant managers.
Ensure that employees comply with Company procedures in respect of payroll.
Ensure that all relevant employee, policy and communication documentation is filed and available for review when necessary.
Ensure that employee confidentiality is maintained.
Manage Office Assistant

Ensure that the Office Assistant meet objectives, targets and adhere to responsibilities as per Job Description
