Exciting position at great company has became available for Payroll Administrator with VIP Premier experience payroll is about 400 monthly employees and 10 weekly wages
Updating: salary register, salary schedule and payroll with new employees, resignations, retirements, retrenchments and other changes on a monthly basis.

2. Monitoring: Standing deductions for garnishee orders, savings plan, loan repayments, maintenance orders and sundries.

3. Reconciling: Provident Fund, PAYE, UIF, SDL.

4. Processing: timesheets & calculate remuneration, UIF & PAYE deductions, all salaries, deductions, increases, bonuses, IRP5 Certificates, processing and preparing weekly Independent Contractors Agent payments.

5. Calculate: travel allowances / car schemes for professional staff, salary packages for prospective employees.

6. Data integrity: conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity.

7. Reporting: prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, e.g. monthly payroll reports. Any report requested by Directors, Finance Department or HR Department.

8. Increase schedules: prepare increase schedules and implement final approved increases.

9. Queries:

a. Explain salary related policies and practices.

b. Assist staff with salary related queries.

c. Assist with Provident Fund related queries.

d. Handle advanced requests / queries on salaries

10. Payments: ensuring all payments are correct and made on time.

11. Pay slips: Print, fold and distribute pay slips.

12. Confirmation of employment: handling all confirmation of employment queries.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HR / IR filing and administration duties as assigned by HR Manager in consultation with Payroll Manager, inter alia:

a. Preparation and electronic storage of IR related documents according to company procedures

b. Capturing of IR cases on IR database

c. Box filing of IR documents according to company procedures

2. Document workflow and work procedures

3. Other duties not reflected in job description as assigned when necessary according to operational requirements.

3 years’ experience on VIP Premier Payroll Administration & ODBC (Open Data Base Connectivity)

2. Matric (Grade 12)

3. Computer literate, advanced Excel knowledge

4. Knowledge of legislative requirements applicable to payroll

5. Excellent administrations skills, attention to detail

6. Excellent troubleshooting skills

7. Good verbal and written communication skills
