Looking for a Payroll Administrator for a tour company

o Strong emphasis on VIP Premier and use thereof
o ODBC and BIM reporting
o Strictly Payroll, not HR position
o Experience on payroll larger than 1000 people
o Excellent Excel skills
o Understanding of accounting as responsible for own accounting recons
o Stable work history, no job hoppers
o Looking for a female candidate

Knowledge required:
• Grade 12
• Extensive knowledge of VIP Premier
• Past experience with Microsoft Access recommended
• Knowledge and a good understanding of Recons and Journals is mandatory

Competencies:
• General Ledger Reconciliation of payroll accounts
• Financial background/understanding
• Must have a passion for Payroll
• Report writing/ODBC/Macros/BIM

Previous experience:
• 3 - 5 years’ experience managing large & multiple payrolls

Key Outputs:
• Monthly Payroll processing on VIP
• Knowledge of Payrolls for different African Countries is required e.g. Kenya and Botswana
• Collation of payroll input from different regions under tight deadlines
• Loading of new staff, terminations, earnings, deductions and company contributions
• Calculate Maternity Pay and submit all UIF forms to Department of Labour for Maternity Claims
• Preparing and Reconciling all payrolls for sign off by managers
• Liaising with managers on all payroll queries
• Reconciling and loading salaries to banking partner
• Creating and printing of payslips to be sent to respective lodges
• Monthly report generation
• Dealing with Salary or Lodge employee queries
• Reconciling and preparing payments for all Third Parties: PAYE, UIF, SDL, Garnishees, Loans, Unions, Medical Aid and Provident Fund
• Reconciling and submission of Bi-Annual and Annual IRP5’s and Workmen’s Compensation
• Backup and Monthly Rollover
