A well established and trusted company in the design, manufacturing and delivery of building facades in Cape Town seeks a skilled and experienced Payroll Administrator. The incumbent should be comfortable in working in a high intensity environment and should have a strong and non-sensitive personality.


Qualification:

Grade 12

Degree / Diploma / N level qualification



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience working with wages on Pastel Payroll

Administration skills and attention to detail

Have a good command of the Afrikaans language

Intermediate MS Excel skills

Ability to plan and prioritize

Communication skills

Problem solving skills

Strong numeracy skills

Ability to work in a team



Job Description:

Prepare and manage payroll processes of employees.

Gather all payroll related data.

Review and calculate timesheets data and hours worked.

Calculate salaries, wages and overtime wage sheets.

Create and run salary sheets and reports.

Manage, maintain and update payroll related data.

Update salary sheets and schedules.

Answer and clarify employees on payroll related inquiries.

Submit payroll reports and sheets on time to the finance or other related department.

Assist administrative or finance staff in processing payrolls of new hires or terminated ones.
