A leading company in Engineering is looking to fill an exciting position for a Payroll Manager. The successful candidate must have at least 7 to 10 years managing payroll.

OUTPUTS:

  • Continuously maintain and improve payroll processes and procedures
  • Implement and manage the payroll systems
  • Effective self-management and performance ownership
  • Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and  profitability (includes management of Human Resources value chain)
  • Business development skills and knowledge
  • Track record in leading / managing people in a team based and participative environment (experience in managing a service operation advantageous)
  • Sound business and financial acumen
  • Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes

 

REQUIREMENTS OF CANDIDATES:

  • 7 to10 Years’ experience in a payroll/Human Resources management position
  • SAP and PaySpace payroll experience and understanding
  • Extensive well developed people management skills
  • Tertiary education an advantage
  • Good accounts knowledge and experience
  • Sound knowledge of Tax (PAYE) legislation
  • Sound Human Resources and Industrial Relations skills
  • Sound business communication and presentation skills
  • Sound Microsoft Office knowledge
