A leading company in Engineering is looking to fill an exciting position for a Payroll Manager. The successful candidate must have at least 7 to 10 years managing payroll.
OUTPUTS:
- Continuously maintain and improve payroll processes and procedures
- Implement and manage the payroll systems
- Effective self-management and performance ownership
- Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability (includes management of Human Resources value chain)
- Business development skills and knowledge
- Track record in leading / managing people in a team based and participative environment (experience in managing a service operation advantageous)
- Sound business and financial acumen
- Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes
REQUIREMENTS OF CANDIDATES:
- 7 to10 Years’ experience in a payroll/Human Resources management position
- SAP and PaySpace payroll experience and understanding
- Extensive well developed people management skills
- Tertiary education an advantage
- Good accounts knowledge and experience
- Sound knowledge of Tax (PAYE) legislation
- Sound Human Resources and Industrial Relations skills
- Sound business communication and presentation skills
- Sound Microsoft Office knowledge
