Payroll Officer
Must have good accounting skills.
You will be responsible for:
? To prepare and process data for the reconciliation of payroll costing for management accounts on a monthly basis.
? Prepare and process the monthly salaries for Head Office payroll and Store Manager payroll within the Group inclusive of all earnings and deductions.
? Assist payroll administrator with processing of group’s bi-weekly wages as needed.
? Records changes affecting net salaries to update master payroll records.
? Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments.
? Prorates expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records.
? Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
? Responsible for maintaining existing and generating new filing system for all salaried employees.
? Preparing and processing wage accruals and splits into Pastel on a monthly basis.
? Responsible for confirming employment of existing employees.
? Loading of new stores account codes on Pastel.
? Capturing and balancing of FNB/Diners Cards for all staff in Pastel .
? Provide all internal departments with employee information as and when required.
? Handle and resolve all payroll queries efficiently.
? Perform any ad hoc duties from time to time as instructed by Payroll Manager.
Qualifications
? B.Com Degree with Accounting
? SAGE VIP Training
? Payroll Administration experience (minimum 2 years)
? Pastel Partner training or experience
