MAIN PURPOSE: Sales assistant is responsible for liaising with customers to achieve sales. Assist Store Manager in smooth running of the store.
Requirements:
• Essential: Minimum 2 Years’ experience of working in a retail boutique environment
• Essential: Basic Numeracy and literacy qualifications
• Available & prepared to work contracted hours during trading week (Monday to Sunday)
• Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel to Basic skill level
• Friendly & engaging personality
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with members of the public
• Good selling skills
• Be polite & calm under pressure
• Team working skills
• Neat appearance
• High level of honesty

MAIN DUTIES
• Deal with customers to promote sales & deliver excellent service
• Deal with product advice, special orders & queries
• Process sales transactions efficiently using correct till procedures.
• Assist with advertising & promotions
• Administration procedures of the store (record sales figures)
• Deal with cash up & report discrepancies
• Maintain high standard of store merchandising & store cleanliness
• Ensure product knowledge
• Stock management: Receiving stock, stock take & control
• Health and Safety: Ensure security procedure according to Centre Management Policy
• Handle store security (shoplifters/ fraudulent cards etc.)
• Other: Open store & lock according to Company security procedures
