Our client, situated in Silverton is urgently looking for a Personal Assistant to MD with certain accounting duties including Wages, GL\Journal Postings, Petty Cash, etc, as per Job Description. To start ASAP.

PA DUTIES:
Controlling the diary of the MD
Read and re-direct incoming mails on mailbox
Assisting with work and personal related issues
Upholding the Company’s Status and representing the MD / CEO
Filing weekly Sales Reps planning & reports
Organise and Control – Corporate clothing, Calendars, Catalogues, corporate gifts and events.
Getting quotes on promotional & corporate gifts
General PA duties and errands on MD’s request.
Assisting with arranging charity events.
Attending monthly sales meetings, once a month, after-hours and typing up of minutes.

CREDITORS
• Assist with creditor balancing when required
• To familiarise 100% with Syspro Accounting Package
• Process Cash Clearing account for Cash Purchases

COMPANY 2 & COMPANY 3 (Small)
• Filing all documents, invoices, statements and bank statements.
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Processing Invoices, Cashbook, Journals and Month Ends on Syspro
• Monthly Management Reports
• Load payments on Standard bank
• Petty Cash for Company 2
• Manage rental agreements and monthly rental accounts
• All payments,

ACCOUNTING
• Monthly petrol account recon and payment
• Control E-toll statements
• Control ALL leave register
• Weekly wages process and loading payments on bank.

DEBTORS
• A solid working understanding of the Debtors/Inventory system and archive retrieval on Syspro

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
• Price updates from Suppliers. ( Cost, Selling & Supplier Price)
• Create new stock codes.
• Updating catalogue
• Marketing Design Layouts and Mail –Shots – PowerPoint?
• Maintain Customer Database, Facebook, Linked-in and Web Page.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
1. A minimum qualification of matric.
2. Post Matric Accounting experience essential.
3. A strong knowledge of Syspro or similar package.
4. Full Computer literacy is essential, incl. Excel (vlookup; present values; formulae, etc), MS-Word, PowerPoint Presentations, design and implementation, MS-Outlook and E-mail.
5. Financial training.
6. Fully bilingual in English/Afrikaans

At least 7years experience in Creditors and Basic bookkeeping to trial balance.
