We are looking for a Bookkeeper & Personal Assistant for a Company in Cape Town.

Purpose of the position:

To provide bookkeeping services to Trial balance as well as professional support and assistance to the Director and the Management team.

Requirements:
Computer literate – Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
Advanced Pastel experience essential and VIP Payroll advantageous
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (travel within Cape Town is required)
Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
Bookkeeping qualification will be advantageous
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Ability to interact in a friendly and professional manner to both internal and external clients
Flexible to adapt to changes in daily routine on short notice
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
Must be self-motivated, proactive, highly organised and able to work under pressure
Must be able to exercise discretion whilst handling confidential information

Duties:
Bookkeeping/Finance Assistance
Bookkeeping up to Trial balance of various clients
Lease administration of personal property trusts
Reconciliation of rental revenue and recoveries of personal property trusts
Capturing and maintaining accounting records of personal property trusts
Any ad hoc bookkeeping services required as needed by the directors
Client Service
Assisting visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner
Assisting clients with any queries or directing them to the appropriate person
Building professional relationships with both internal and external clients
Office Support
Sourcing and ordering of office supplies in terms of stationery and office consumables (tea, coffee etc)
Provide general office administrative support to the team
Assistance to the Director
Admin and PA duties for the Director
Managing travel arrangements (booking flights, accommodation, car rental etc)
Arranging and co-coordinating meetings and events
Assist the Director with any personal errands
Property site meetings
Assist in any special projects assigned by Management

Salary is market related
