Personal Assistant

Nimble Group is recruiting for an experienced PA to one of the Executive Directors; who will ensure that the executive management have excellent administrative support, enabling them to focus on business development and high-level management issues. The successful candidate will be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude. He / she will have the multi-tasking ability and flexibility to work in this dynamic and ever-evolving environment, and will work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should be flexible in terms of working hours and may be required to operate outside of normal business working hours from time to time.

Duties include (but not limited to):
• Assist the Executive in planning and executing his duties and personal arrangements
• Managing the Executive’s office system
• Liaising with staff and clients
• Conducting internet research for the Executive on various subjects
• Writing minutes
• Organising travel travel and preparing complex travel itineraries,
• Organizing and maintaining electronic diaries and making appointments
• Organising of meetings
• Reading, monitoring & responding to the Executive’s emails, post, enquiries, pending matters and all correspondence with limited direction
• Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
• Attending events/meetings as the Executive’s representative when needed
• Organising and preparing documents
• Preparation of presentations for meetings, committee meetings and board meetings
• Office Management
• Producing documents, briefing papers, reports, presentations and data capturing
• Research

Experience and qualifications required:
• Matric and a relevant qualification
• At least 5-10 years’ experience as a PA at senior/executive level
• Exceptional computer literacy i.e. advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Highly developed organisational skills
• Initiative
• Maturity to handle a range of situations
• A meticulous and thorough nature
• An ability to work to tight deadlines
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – excellent communicator
• Loyalty and a high level of confidentiality
• The ability to multi-task is essential
• Efficient
• Self-motivated
• Valid Driver’s Licence & Own Vehicle
• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act would be advantageous
• The willingness to go “the extra mile”
