Exciting opportunity exists as a short term insurance broker based in Sandton

PERSONAL LINES INTERNAL BROKER aspiring to ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Salary offer: R20 000 to R26 000 negotiable, dependent on experience

Duties will include (not an exhaustive list)

• Back Up to Personal Lines Broker
• Policy Administration
• Securing new business
• FAIS requirements – needs analysis, etc.
• Processing policy documentation
• Confirmation and Covering Letters
• Obtaining Quotations from Insurers/Underwriters
• Risk Requirements – follow up with clients
• Renewal of Policies – preparation through to finalisation
• Premium Collection – Debtors and unmet premiums
• New Business – assist with control/monitoring

Overview

? Current broker experience, of at least 5 – 10 years
? A strong technical ability in the short term insurance area – especially in Personal Lines Products (including High Net Worth Products).
? FAIS compliancy
? Completed first level Regulatory Examination – Representatives (RE5)
? Strong computer skills
? 5-10 years experience in dealing directly with clients and insurers and interacting internally
? Follow guidelines and processes as prescribed by the company’s underwriting procedures
? Previous experience on this system A would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
