Leading Retail Organization seeks a suitably qualified / experienced Personnel Information Officer to join their dynamic Head Office team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first line support to HR system users and provide assistance and inputs into HR system changes and new developments.

Minimum Requirements:
• 3 year Degree/ Diploma within HR/IT/Business Analysis and /or SAP Certification
• An understanding of how HR Information Systems support and enhance HR business processes
• Knowledge of technical data processing procedures, policies, and best practices
• Knowledge in supporting and administrating an HR Information System
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced Data Processing skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced computer literacy (MS Office suite)
• Project management / implementation experience highly desirable

Responsibilities will include:

1. User Support
• Troubleshoot all system admin issues and tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, set-up user and administrator accounts and maintain appropriate access
• Train other administrators on key system functionality, administrative tasks and processes.
• Participate in client meetings related to support, modifications, configurations and customizations.
• Respond to numerous Task/ Incident per day following a standard process including raising /documenting/ coordinating tasks.
• Demonstrate and explain functions within the various information systems providing options and solutions around client needs.
• Resolve high volume requests within short time frame

2. System Administration and Reporting
• Add or edit entities in the system
• Support system implementations or upgrades by participating in UAT to test and analyse system functionality and document results.
• Maintain ongoing system documentation.
• Develop and execute custom, ad-hoc and standard notifications
• Test new functionality developed by in-house developers. Work with developers to troubleshoot issues.
• Generate and schedule standard and custom reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis
• Assist in the design and development of custom reports

3. Relationship Management
• Work with the client to standardize, streamline and coordinate business and system processes.
• Understand, document, and clearly communicate these business processes to both client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Work independently with users to define tasks and drive those to completion.
• Engage and work with other team members to resolve issues.
• Work with the IT Team Leaders to plan and estimate requests.
• Serve as liaison between client and technical resources as required; escalate issues through the proper channels and work with escalation point person to achieve issue resolution.
• Interact and communicate with all levels of the organization to troubleshoot issues and provide quick solutions.
• Work with the Project Manager / Team Leader to identify client challenges and work together to solve them.

4. Analysis
• Interpret client business needs and translate those into practical system application and operational requirements, utilizing strong analytical and product management skills.
• Evaluate requests and determine the level of support and documentation required. Engage and work with other team members to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot content integration issues to conduct root cause analysis and recommend or provide a resolution when possible.
• Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures for various functions.
