Tastic Rice Corporation is looking to employ for a Pest Control Officer in Durban.

Responsibilities and Duties

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

Good time management
Commitment to the environment when carrying out pest control services.
Multi-skill across all areas of pest control and Quality Control
Completing all company documentation on time
Filling out Service Reports on all work carried out on Pest Control
Fully conversant with Hazard Chemical and the impact of such
Adhere to Label instructions per treatment of pesticides
Teamwork
Identification of pests
Accountability of stock and vehicle
Know and understand Safety practices of Pest Control
Managing of and physical treatment of sites.
Physical treatment of any other sites as required in the best interests of the business and customers.
Weekly stock planning together with other Department’s to ensure correct and relevant stock issuing by the controller to the PCO's and monthly vehicle stock takes.
Ensuring the rendering of a high quality of service by means of:
Being involved and contributing with the pest control division
Ensuring that work load is completed as scheduled
Ensuring that the monthly work load spreadsheets are updated twice a week.
That the work load completion is progressing as scheduled and that all routine workloads are completed by the end of the month.
Portray a positive image at all times.
Ensure service records are completed correctly and returned to the office.
Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
Provide a high quality service with a polite and professional approach.
Ensure that client service levels are maintained to the highest possible standards.
Comply with, implement and maintain all company systems, policies and procedures.
Treat all customers and colleagues with respect in the best interest of the employer
Any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the employer's business, as the employer may, from time to time direct.
Pay prompt attention to Customer Complaints and respond to all complaints within 48hrs
Ensure smooth running of ALL Pest Control related services and queries and opportunities
Qualifications and Skills

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

Current Registration Certificate with the Department of Agriculture as per ACT 36 of 1947
Positive attitude, high energy and motivational levels.
Great team player
Good personal, interpersonal and communication skills
Honest
Presentable and confident at all times
Valid driver’s licence
Excellent time management
Good Computer skills
Customer focused

Min Requirements:

Matric

A valid PCO Certificate

Fumigators License is a BONUS

HACCP experience

Great knowledge on Pest control

Ability to work on their own
