REQUIREMENTS
Role : Regional Sales Manager – Nutritionals
Report line : GM/ General Manager
Business Unit : Nutritionals
Location : Johannesburg/ Inland

Salary : Market related/ negotiable at approx. ZAR base of R55 000 + Car allowance + petrol card + medical aid + pension – depending on education, experience & current CTC package
Education : Relevant Science Degree/ Diploma or Business Degree / Diploma/ or Marketing Degree/ Diploma etc
Experience : A minimum of 5 years senior sales experience in Pharmaceutical

Focus of the role:
• Achieve regional sales, market share and growth objectives through good management and roll out of your sales and marketing strategy and leading a team
• Coaching and mentoring your sales team to improve their sales abilities – guiding, correcting, goal focusing and coaching your team
• Responsible for entire Sales Team Focus – from hiring, training, coaching, development, requesting training
• Staff management, monitoring and evaluating your team’s performance
• Report generating and feedback to the GM and National Sales Manager (NSM) to align regional activity with national activity in terms of sales targets, regional activities, projects, successes and improvement areas
• Attend trade meetings, workshops etc
• Sales Team monitoring through call rate/ targets – and measuring on sales force
• Use Sales Force to generate reports and track trends that impact sales performance and report back to Sales Reps on corrective action.
• Hold a mentoring position in the team as Regional Sales Manager and be the go to for sales reps
• Generate reports on Regional Sales each quarter for analysis and feedback to GM/ NSM team.
• Constantly performance manage your sales team to ensure sales delivery through coaching, guidance, reports, feedback etc
• Proactively identify, analyze, and pursue new business avenue streams that your region can drive
• Work closely with marketing department and efforts to align the company strategy on the nutritionals product offerings
• Monitor all sales activity and expenses in line with budget review and targets
• Maintaining relationships with regional whole sale to ensure accurate nutritionals stock levels and pro-active approach to monitoring stock levels

Education & Experience/ Skills
Education : Relevant Science Degree/ Diploma or Business Degree / Diploma/ or Marketing Degree/ Diploma etc
Experience : A minimum of 5 years senior sales experience in Pharmaceutical
Indepth industry knowledge e.g nutritionals, market, industry and competitor products
Senior Level experience with Nutritionals - Sales & Marketing Strategies
Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage a sales team
Strong communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal relations with a key customer care focus
