Pharmacist Assistant Our client, one of the largest retail outlets in South Africa, has an immediate vacancy at their GEZINA branch.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To assist the pharmacist in dispensing and to perform pharmacy related administrative duties.

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic
Qualified as post basic pharmacist assistant
Registered as a post basic pharmacist assistant with the SA Pharmacy Council
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

1. Stock control
2. Dispensing (under supervision of pharmacist)
3. Administration
4. Housekeeping
5. Frontshop service

JOB REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Dispensing knowledge
Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems

JOB REQUIRED SKILLS
Computer literacy – Basic MS Office skills

EXPERIENCE
Two years’ experience as a trainee in a pharmacy
