JOB TITLE: Pharmacist - Kuruman

LOCATION: Northern Cape

JOB PURPOSE: To assist in the management of a Pharmacy and take responsibility as the on-duty pharmacist

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· Matric/Grade 12

· B.Pharm degree

· Registered as a pharmacist at the pharmacy council (SAPC)

· Experience in a retail Pharmacy will be an advantage

· Dispensing knowledge

· Knowledgeable with regard to pharmacy legislation

· Computer literacy – MS Office skills

· Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems

NB: operating results are achieved through delegated tasks

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Dispensing, Pharmacy administration, Housekeeping, Stock control, Customer service, Sales and Compliance

· Operational work planning, priority setting and scheduling

· Operational performance monitoring

· People and enabling capacity management / Resourcing

· Manage cross functional relationships e.g. with prescribers, suppliers, Head Office, Store manager and Cash office
