Key Responsibilities include:

• Reporting medication incidents, completing root cause analysis & developing and implementing remedial actions as appropriate
• Completing trends analysis with relevant actions together with Pharmacy Manager.
• Reviewing pharmacy medication process, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing actions
• Recruiting, retaining, motivating and developing staff according to company people policies and practices
• Reviewing daily stock cover template to ensure adequate coverage according to target, informing doctors, and wards of alternative products available in supplier out of stock situations

• B.Pharm Qualification
• Relevant clinical knowledge and experience to the critical outputs
• In hospital experience as a Pharmacist
• Current registration with South African Pharmacy Council
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation
• Pharmaceutical product knowledge
