PHARMACY SALES REPRESENTATIVE (OTC / FHC CNS / CVS)

PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR
Leading pharmaceutical company seeks a suitably qualified and experienced Pharmacy Sales Representative to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be driven and passionate with a proven track record of selling, detailing and marketing CVS, CNS, FHC and OTC and related products to Pharmacies in the private sector.
You will be responsible for the Company’s Western Cape area with country trips to surrounding areas on a regular basis.
Salary: Negotiable Plus Perks (Travel, Petrol and Cell Phone Allowance, Tablet, Medical Aid, Provident Fund, Monthly commission, bi-annual incentives and a performance based 13th Cheque)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant Business, Bachelors or Medical Sciences Degree
• Min. 2 – 5 years’ Pharmaceutical Sales experience required
• Strong knowledge of CVS / CNS disease area
• Exposure to generics preferred
• Demonstrated ability of achieving success in a medical / pharmaceutical sales environment
• Good knowledge of medical terms and applications e.g. understanding of anatomy, physiology, disease and pharmaceutical treatments
• Good knowledge and proven application of administration processes, systems and practices
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
• Computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft Packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Driven and self-motivated
• Professional image with strong business acumen and good business ethics.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Strong existing relationships with key pharmacies in allocated geographic area would be advantageous.
