Requirements

Experience in Theatre as a Professional Nurse is required
Knowledge of surgical products and prosthesis
Informed regarding industry matters and demonstrate flexibility in accordance with the operational need of the unit
Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Consistent ethical behaviour
Strong administrative and supervisory skills with an attention to detail
Ability to function independently but also work well within a team
Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner and negotiate acceptable solutions between stakeholders
Demonstrate Basic Computer literacy (MS Office)
Value and support diversity in the workplace
Adapts and maintains a customer-focus mind-set that acknowledges the importance and value of the customer, and acts accordingly.

Key Outputs

Management of workforce according to volume and to the operational need of the theatre complex
Responsible for orientation and supervision of Pharmacy Theatre staff
Ensure standardised processes are implemented and that standardised Consignment processes are followed
Ensure the management of workflow according to volume and to the theatre operational demands
Responsible for evaluating new stock requests
Analyse Key Performance Indicators for Theatre and plan remedial action with management
Ensure client satisfaction, client services principles are maintained and that patient information remains confidential
