A new e-commerce business - part of a larger media group is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join their team for a 3-month contract. The nature of the work entails: • Code cleanup and optimisation • New features design and implementation • User-interface changes and troubleshooting Requirements: • A minimum of five years PHP, MySQL and Apache experience. • Strong database design & SQL skills. • Demonstrable experience using the PHP Cake framework. • Integration with mail automation and integration. • Experience with payment gateways and other elements of e-commerce. Advantageous • JavaScript, CSS & Ajax. • Revision control and bug tracking systems. • Unit testing methodologies. • Webserver understanding and experience. • Experience with mobile systems and payments.   Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
