A great new position is available for an Intermediate PHP Developer with a company in Johannesburg. The client is looking for someone that is innovative and who works well in a team. Responsibilities: • The role includes PHP front-end and backend programming in two main web application products catering for large numbers of concurrent users, database design and development with MySQL, Mongo DB, Rabbit MQ, Redis and other core web systems. Qualifications and Experience: • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and jQuery (3 years minimum). • Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming. • Experience of MVC design patterns and frameworks (1 Year Minimum). • Experience with CakePHP or Symphony frameworks (1 Year Minimum). • Experience with and JavaScript • Front-end development including jQuery. • Understanding of Ajax. • Excellent understanding of server-side programming. • Must write efficient scalable code with documentation. • Commercial experience in Web Application development. • Can read code written by others • Has experience debugging code.
