Our client is in need of a top-notch PHP web developer who is looking to work with their product development team in creating awesome, and break-through web apps! Main responsibilities of this position include working to build an agile and test-driven focused development team, creating scalable and highly robust software, and building incredibly usable and intuitive web UI's. Requirements: • fascinated by solving technical challenges • super bright and a fast learner • highly proficient in OOP with PHP 5 • highly proficient with MySQL or other open-source DBMS • experienced in using MVC frameworks • embraces agile development methodologies • experience with test-driven and behaviour-driven development • organised and able to coordinate multiple simultaneous tasks • strong written and verbal communication skills • highly motivated and responsible • results oriented Other requirements: • Appropriate degree, diploma or certification (e.g. Zend certification, Computer Science degree or diploma) • 3 to 5 years professional web development work experience with PHP and MySQL • Own transport
