Pig Health Supervisor (Age 30+)

Offer: R15, 000 – R25, 000 Depending on experience + 13th cheque + Housing + Production Bonus

Our client is a farrow to finish farm situated near Pretoria, Gauteng who has vacancy for an individual who can supervise the administration of vaccines and other pig treatments.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification, will have worked in the industry for at least ten years and had extensive experience of pig health care ranging from sows, piglets, weaners and growers.

KPA’S of this position are,
Ability to work with and control senior members of staff
Able to plan a work routine
Maintain records of treatments and stock used
Be a ‘hands on’ supervisor
Communicate with veterinarians and senior management
Motivate staff
Be profit conscious

The position entails working with six staff members in various departments, assisting with routine vaccinations, deciding on other treatments where necessary and ensuring treatments are carried out correctly.
