Our client in the automotive industry is looking to employ a Pilot Hall Supervisor with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering based field within the automotive industry

ESSENTIAL:

• Have a National Diploma in Engineering/ Technical Field (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Have at least 5 years’ experience in an engineering-based field within the motor industry
• Have sound technical knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing
• Have a high level of Computer Literacy (MS Office)
• Have excellent presentation skills
• Have strong organizational and analytical skills
• Have sound knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Be self-motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure
• Be able to communicate at management level within the organization
• Fundamental interpersonal skills and application of leadership principles
• Problem solving, the ability to anticipate and co-ordinate corrective actions
• Have the ability to train and coach

PREFERRED:

• Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of CATIA software and SAP

Duties

·       Complex analysis, Product and Process problem solving

·       Project management: Pre- Series Vehicle build, Facility and Resource planning

·       Process and Product change management which includes Engineering Change management and Problem sheet management

·       Facilitate Try-outs and Fitment for new part introduction

·       Prototype and Production aid development and manufacturing

·       Managing all analysis and measuring activities including analysis  tools

·       Managing the maintenance of current facilities and procurement of new facilities

Represent Pilot Hall at all levels during cross-corporate activities
