OVERVIEW:

• Our petrochemical client is looking for 3 (three) Piping Senior Designers for a 1-year contract based at SAPREF Durban.
• You will be there to prepare layouts and conceptual designs for difficult and complex problems. Preparing complex design drawings and interfacing with other design disciplines.
• HIGHLY PROFICIENT IN 2D AND 3D PDS CAD AND BE ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY WITH LITTLE OR NO SUPERVISION

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accredited two (2) year technical degree preferred.

SKILLS:

• Microstation and AutoCAD 2D
• Advanced 3D PDS Equipment & Piping
• SmartPLan Review
• Advanced piping design

KNOWLEDGE:

• ****** MINIMUM 10 YEARS PIPING DESIGN EXPERIENCE ******
• ****** MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS REFINERY / PETROCHEMICAL EXPERIENCE ******
• A PDS COMPETENCY TEST HAS TO BE COMPLETED. 
• PASS MARK 80%
