Job Description

Executing of planned production task and ensuring targets are met
Inspecting working areas and pre-shifting meetings
Monitoring dump control, loading and hauling and making sure loading areas safe for usage
Ensuring machinery is well-preserved and daily inspections
Ensuring contractors is managed in line with given budget
Ensuring subordinates meets KPI’s and clearly defined
Managing of overtime, leave management and industrial relations
General administration as required

Minimum Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Mining or Civil Engineering advantageous
Open Pit Blasting Certificate essential
Matric
5 - 7 years working experience within an open pit mining environment along with proven track record with open pit heavy equipment , operations and mechanical inclined
At least 2 years experience in supervisory role
Legal Liability
Knowledge of MS Office
Medically fit and pass of a medical examination as required
Valid Driver’s license
