Job Description

Adhere to safety regulations
Ensure sites and all other areas are well maintained
Inspection of sites and continuous upkeep of company standards
Ensure production duties are done timeously
Meet target deadlines
Attend pre-shift meetings
Oversee dump control
Ensure all loading and hauling are done safely
Supervise loading areas to ensure policies are adhered to
All administration and report writing

Minimum Requirements

Open Pit Blasting Certificate
Grade 12
Competency A
5 years exp. in an open pit mining environment
2 years supervisory exp.
Experience with open pit heavy equipment fleet, open pit operations and mechanical inclined
Medically fit (pass medical exams)
Computer literate
Drivers licence
