Responsibilities
Maintain and Improve (at planers as well as upgrading x-cut volumes):
• Production throughput
• Quality standards which includes a plant maintenance function
• Safety Standards
• Housekeeping Practices
• Production throughput
Leading and management of a large team
Upgrading x-cut productivities
Requirements
Good knowledge of SANS specs (1783 and 096)
Good understanding of value recovery and volume throughput
Minimum 5 years Saw-Milling experience
Good communicator and Team player
Good organizer
“Board Grading For Supervisors” Certificate would be beneficial
