Amazing position available for a PLANNER in Johannesburg. We are seeking a well-spoken, fashion-fundi, outgoing persona and energetic person to apply for this role. The company, brand and specific location (in Joburg) will only be disclosed during interview process.

The Planner would be responsible for accurate allocations of Stock to Stores, together with controlling and managing the Core Replenishment programme as well as Stock Movement between stores.

Key Performance Areas to include but not limited to:
1. Allocations and Stock Control
- Stock and Sales Analysis
- Core Allocation Preparation
- Quarterly size curve analysis
- Allocations; ensuring allocations are accurate and on time, weekly
2. Stock Management
- Identify gaps in specific fashion lines and provide feedback to Management
- Profiling of merchandise lines
- Monitor benchmarks and provide feedback
- Stock Consolidations with specific merchandise lines
- Monthly Performance Report
3. Stock Movement Control
- Provide feedback on a weekly basis to Merchandise Team regarding Dispatches, WIP, Deliveries
- Manage receipt of samples
- Determine stock/promotional feedback through weekly store visits.
Experience required:
• Must have Matric and a Relevant Tertiary Retail Qualification
• Minimum 8 years’ working experience in a Retail Environment as a PLANNER
• Must have an excellent track record working in the retail footwear/ apparel industry
• 3 years’ experience as a Merchandise Controller
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
